Cornus Oakleigh December Update

As we step into the final months of the year, we are excited to bring you the latest updates on the progress of our Cornus Oakleigh project. The construction site has been abuzz with activity and we are proud to share significant milestones achieved during the months of November and December.

Level 1 and Level 2 Suspended Slab Fully Poured:

• The construction team has successfully poured the suspended slabs for both Level 1 and Level 2, marking a crucial step forward in the vertical development of the project.

Level 1 & Level 2 Columns and Panels 100% Placed:

• All columns and panels for Levels 1 and 2 have been meticulously placed, ensuring structural integrity and laying the foundation for the upcoming phases.

Basement Blockworks 50% Completed:

• Progress in the basement blockworks has reached the halfway mark, emphasising our commitment to quality construction from the ground up.

Service Rough-In Commenced in Basement:

• The installation of essential services, such as electrical, plumbing and mechanical services,  in the basement has begun, setting the groundwork for the functional aspects of the building.
  
  
  

Looking ahead into the next few weeks and as we usher in the new year, our construction agenda remains dynamic and focused on achieving key milestones:

Pour Suspended Slab for Levels 3 to Level 5 and Place Columns and Panels:

• The upward momentum continues as we progress with the suspended slabs pouring for Levels 3 to 5, accompanied by the placement of columns and panels to solidify the structure.

Basement Blockworks:

• The completion of basement blockworks is a top priority, underscoring our dedication to a robust and durable foundation.

Basement Service Rough-In:

• Services in the basement will undergo further installation and refinement.

Internal Framing to Start on Ground in Apartment Building:

• As we move vertically, internal framing on the ground floor will commence, shaping the interior spaces of the structure.

Window Install to Start:

• The installation of windows is set to begin, marking a significant aesthetic and functional enhancement to the building envelope.
