We are delighted to share the latest progress update on the Cornus Oakleigh project. Over the past month, our dedicated team has achieved significant milestones, bringing us closer to completing this remarkable development.

 

Major Milestone Achieved:

We are thrilled to announce the completion of the apartment structural top-out phase. This includes the successful pouring of all concrete slabs and roofs, marking a pivotal moment in the construction process.

 

Over the past month, our team has made significant strides in the construction of the Cornus Oakleigh project. We have achieved a 100% completion of high-level services rough-in in the basements, ensuring that essential infrastructure is fully in place. Additionally, external waterproofing has been finalised on the ground level and level 1. The successful installation of apartment windows on the ground and first floors not only enhances the aesthetics of the building but also improves its functionality. Furthermore, the apartment services rough-in on the ground level has been fully completed, while internal plastering stands at an impressive 80% complete. Moreover, the exterior of apartments on the ground level has reached an advanced stage, with 80% completion, adding to the overall progress of the project.

 

In the coming weeks, our focus will be on several crucial tasks to propel the project forward. We will continue with the apartment services rough-in to ensure comprehensive functionality throughout the building. Additionally, efforts will be directed towards progressing with apartment external waterproofing to reinforce the structure against external elements. The internal framing for the apartments will commence, laying the groundwork for interior spaces to take shape. Installing apartment windows will not only enhance the building's appearance but also improve its functionality. We will also work on advancing apartment external cladding to bring the exterior closer to completion. Furthermore, internal waterproofing, tiling, painting and joinery works will be initiated. The substation installation fitout will be completed, facilitating the permanent power connection to the building. Lastly, water and stormwater connections will be undertaken to ensure that essential utilities are operational for the residents.
