Oakleigh Townhouses by Cornus May Construction Update

We are excited to share the latest progress on our Oakleigh Townhouses by Cornus project, which remains on track for completion later this year. Throughout the month of May, our dedicated team has achieved several significant milestones, bringing us closer to delivering these exceptional homes.

In recent weeks, we commenced the installation of privacy screens, whilst the painting on level 2 has been completed, adding a fresh and vibrant look to the interiors. Internal tiling up to level 2 is also complete, providing a polished finish to the living spaces.

We have begun the installation of the bathroom and kitchen joinery, which will contribute to the high-quality finishes and functionality of the townhouses. The facade is now complete, giving the buildings a sleek and modern exterior. Internally, plastering is 90% finished, creating smooth and seamless walls that are ready for the next stages of construction.

Additionally, the internal staircase installation is complete, in conjunction with the installation of balcony balustrades. The roller doors have also been installed, providing secure and convenient access to the garages.

Looking ahead, several key tasks are scheduled for the coming weeks and months. 

The installation of timber floors and carpets will shortly commence, along with ongoing internal waterproofing, tiling, painting and joinery work. The appliance and sanitary ware fit-offs will be carried out to equip the homes with modern amenities and fixtures.

By the end of June, we aim to complete the installation of the main carpark entry, improving accessibility and convenience for future residents. These upcoming tasks are crucial steps in the final phases of the Oakleigh Townhouses by Cornus project.
