We are pleased to provide you with the latest progress update on the Cornus Glen Iris project. Our dedicated team has been working diligently to ensure the successful completion of each phase of construction. Here are the key updates for the upcoming weeks:
Significant milestones have been achieved on both the lower and upper ground floors of the project. The completion of the second pour on the lower ground floor marks a substantial advancement. Meanwhile, on the upper ground floor, the meticulous completion of formwork for both pour 1 and pour 2 lays the groundwork for upcoming concrete pouring activities. The successful installation of the precast panels and columns on the lower ground floor represent a pivotal stage in the construction process and highlight the visible progress of the project.
Additionally, concrete pouring activities on critical areas, such as the basement ramp, stairs and the entry/driveway ramp, have been executed, promoting improved accessibility and functionality. Finally, the completion of plumbing activities in the groundworks ensures the seamless integration of essential services, forming the foundational basis for the building's overall infrastructure functionality.
The stairs and basement ramp are scheduled to be poured this week, whilst the formwork for the first pour on the upper ground floor is currently underway and is expected to be completed by the end of this week. Pour 1, on the upper ground, is scheduled to take place in the middle of next week. Following the completion of pour 1, the formwork for pour 2 will be initiated and subsequently poured. Concurrently with the upper ground floor pours, our team will begin the installation of the columns and panels on the upper ground floor. Following this, the service trades, including fire, mechanical, plumbing and electrical, are scheduled to rough in the necessary services that need to be cast in the slab.
