January Construction Update: Cornus Oakleigh Project

In recent weeks, significant milestones have been achieved at the Cornus Oakleigh Project. The construction team successfully poured suspended slabs for Levels 1 and 2 whilst also expertly placing precast columns and panels on Levels 1, 2, and 3 further solidifying the structural foundation of the building. The blockwork milestones are evident, with the basements' blockworks fully completed and ground-level blockworks impressively at 70% completion.

The dedication to comprehensive infrastructure is underscored by the 75% completion of the rough-in for high-level services in the basements. Additionally, the project is fortifying against the elements, as external waterproofing has been initiated on the ground level. 

These accomplishments pave the way for the forthcoming weeks, where the focus will shift to pouring suspended slabs for levels 3 to 5, placing precast columns and panels, completing ground-level blockworks, advancing apartment services rough-in, continuing external waterproofing efforts, initiating apartment internal framing, and commencing apartment window installation and exterior finishes and materials are installed.
