Cornus Glen Iris June Update

At Cornus Developments, we are thrilled to share the latest developments from our Cornus Glen Iris site. Over the past month, our team has made significant strides, bringing us closer to delivering a premium living experience for our future residents. Here's a detailed overview of what has been accomplished and a sneak peek into what lies ahead.

The exterior finishes of Cornus Glen Iris have seen remarkable progress. All exterior finishes, including wall systems, have been completed and the first coat of render has been applied to all walls, providing a glimpse of the building's final aesthetic. The tower crane, which has been instrumental in the construction process, has now been removed, marking a significant milestone in our project's progress.

Inside the building, all of the internal plasterwork has been completed, ensuring smooth and ready-to-finish surfaces throughout. Carpentry fixes up to Level 1, including the installation of skirting boards and internal doors, have been finished. Additionally, the painting of apartments up to and including Level 1 has been completed, adding a fresh and vibrant feel to the interiors. The internal tiling in bathrooms and ensuites has been successfully installed, setting the stage for the next phase of interior work. Furthermore, joinery installation has commenced in kitchens and bathrooms, which will soon transform these spaces into functional and stylish areas.

As we move into the next month, several key activities are planned to further advance the project. A coloured coat of render will be applied to the exterior, enhancing the building's visual appeal and providing a durable finish. The painting on level 2 will begin and the installation of the timber floors will also start, bringing warmth and elegance to the interiors. Additionally, the installation of the marble benchtops will commence, adding a touch of luxury and durability to the kitchens and bathrooms. The fit-off of sanitary fixtures, including toilets and tapware, will also take place. Finally, the installation of the carpet in the bedrooms will begin, ensuring a cozy and comfortable living environment for future residents.
