Cornus Glen Iris May Construction Update

We are pleased to share the latest progress on our Cornus Glen Iris project, which remains on track for completion later this year. May has been incredibly productive, with our team achieving several key milestones and setting the stage for the final phases of construction.

Over the past few weeks, significant strides have been made. Painting inside the apartments has begun, adding a fresh and vibrant look to the interiors. Our carpentry team has been busy with work including the installation of the internal doors and skirting, enhancing the overall finish and functionality of the apartments. Plastering work is nearing completion on level 2, with the team expected to wrap up in a couple of weeks. Additionally, services are at the rough-in stage on levels 1 and 2, ensuring that all essential utilities are in place.

In the bathrooms, tiling and waterproofing works are set to commence soon, laying the groundwork for the final fixtures and finishes. The timber flooring installation is scheduled to start in late June, promising to add a touch of elegance and warmth to the living spaces.

Looking ahead, several critical tasks are on the horizon. The exterior works are almost complete and we have started rendering the lower ground floor, which will enhance the building's exterior aesthetics. The installation of metal balustrades will follow, whilst our scaffold has reached its full height and will be gradually removed as the external works are completed. Additionally, the tower crane is scheduled to be removed in mid-June, marking another significant milestone in the project.
