Cornus Oakleigh June Construction Update

The Cornus Oakleigh apartment project is making remarkable progress, bringing us closer to completion and delivering exceptional living spaces to our valued future residents. Over the past few weeks, our dedicated team has achieved significant milestones that we are excited to share with you.

Firstly, all essential services have been successfully installed, ensuring the infrastructure is in place to support modern living standards. Additionally, the rubbish chute installation is complete, enhancing convenience and hygiene for future residents. The lift is fully operational, facilitating easy access across all floors. The building's exterior now boasts its final touches, giving it a polished and contemporary look, while touch-ups and final painting are ongoing to ensure a pristine finish throughout the building.

Internally, all plastering has been completed and on level 4, the final coat of paint has been applied. The kitchens and bathrooms are taking shape with beautifully crafted joinery and elegant marble benchtops, in conjunction with the essential appliances and sanitary ware installation up to level 4, ensuring these apartments are nearly move-in ready. 

All internal tiling work is finished and the balconies are now fully tiled. The timber-engineered flooring and plush carpets have been laid up to level 3 as well as the showerscreens, which are in place. The built-in robes are fully installed as well as the balcony balustrades.

We have begun the defect rectification process from the ground floor to level 1, ensuring all minor issues are addressed. Additionally, the scaffold on the West, South, and East sides has been removed, revealing the building’s façade in its full glory.

In the coming weeks, we anticipate dismantling the remaining scaffold on the North side, which will complete the exterior reveal. Timber flooring and the carpet installation will be finalised across the remaining levels. The fit-off of appliances and sanitary ware will continue, ensuring all apartments are fully equipped. The landscaping around the building will begin, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and creating inviting outdoor spaces whilst the fit-off works in the basement will start, adding the final touches to this essential area.

The Cornus Oakleigh project is now 80% sold, a testament to its exceptional quality and desirable location.
