April Update Cornus Glen Iris

We are thrilled to bring you the latest update on the exciting developments at the Cornus Glen Iris project. As construction marches forward, we're excited to share the recent accomplishments and provide a glimpse into the exciting future awaiting this innovative endeavour.
The project has reached a significant milestone as the structure has officially topped out, marking a key moment in its progress. Additionally, significant progress has been made in ensuring the building's durability and integrity, with all hobs expertly waterproofed. In the basement, the groundwork for essential services is now complete, with rough-ins for mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems seamlessly integrated. Blockwork walls have been skillfully erected, laying the foundation for the project's robust structure. Moving upwards, windows have been installed up to Level 1, allowing natural light to flood into the building's interior spaces. The lower ground floor and ground floor are beginning to take shape with the commencement of the exterior finishes. Also on the ground floor and lower ground floor, the plastering work has commenced and is almost complete. 

Looking ahead, the next 3-4 weeks promise even more exciting progress. Works are set to commence on sheeting and plastering the walls of the lower ground and ground floors, bringing these spaces closer to their final form. On levels 1 and level 2, the wall framing will take centre stage, shaping the layout of future rooms and areas.

Simultaneously, service rough-ins on levels 1 and 2 will continue, ensuring the seamless integration of essential utilities throughout the building. The project will also witness the installation of the kitchens on the ground floor, adding both functionality and aesthetic appeal to the living spaces.

Meanwhile, attention will shift to level 2, where windows will be installed, further enhancing the building's facade and panoramic views, whilst the concrete pouring for the entry ramp will commence. 

As the building continues its ascent, the exterior finishes will progress up to and including level 1, whilst on the lower and upper ground floors the transformative process of rendering will enhance the building's visual appeal.
